You can find additional, more in depth information on the IAHF website at http://www.iahf.com An oversight hearing on the Codex vitamin issue was whitewashed on March 20, 2001. The USA is being set up at Codex by the FDA for our vitamin laws to be harmonized to a finalized Codex vitamin standard via a future WTO Trade Dispute. FDA has set us up by falsely defining vitamin safety through a paper that they put on the table at Codex which never underwent a public comments period and which was scientifically biased and paid for by pharmaceutical money. This paper is on the IAHF website along with a solid rebuttal. It is titled "A Risk Assessment Model for Establishing Safe Upper Levels for Nutrients" It is being billed as "the lesser of two evils" (compared with RDA levels), but it is still evil and it still sets us up.

The Codex vitamin proposal is at step 4 of an 8 step process where step 8 is completion. They're boiling the frog slowly in the hopes of not arousing a public backlash. It is very important that we protest this constantly, and that we build our opposition larger until we reach the point where we flood them with so many faxes, calls, emails, that they withdraw their evil plans.

Please forward this widely. If you already protested, do so over and over today, send the form letter to them multiple times by hitting your "back button" each time you send it, so you can do it a hundred times or more. We need to bury them and show them who's boss.
